Sydney-based Andy runs all distances but has shone in ultras down the years in Australia. The former Brit has represented his new homeland on seven occasions at 100km World Championships. Among his achievements are Australian 50km Champion in 2013, NSW Masters Age Group 5,000m Champion 2017 and the 2017 Gold Coast Southern Cross 10km and Sydney Harbour 10km.
An advocate of CurraNZ since 2017, this hugely accomplished distance runner has gone on to reset all but one of his PBs using our product.
Hal Cross is an expat Brit now living in Australia who has undergone a massive fitness and health transformation in his 40s and 50s to become a fiercely competitive amateur athlete in Ironman triathlons.
Having completed more than seven Ironmans in Australasia and Europe, Hal has qualified for the Ironman 70.3 World Championships at Taupo 2020. His big goal is to qualify for the World Championships in Kona and hopes to book his ticket at Ironman Western Australia later this year.
Now a triathlon coach, Hal has found CurraNZ invaluable, particularly around accelerating recovery, which “doesn’t get any easier in your 50s!”.
Luca is a World Record-holding endurance runner, coach and founder of the cancer charity Outrun Cancer.
Based in Sydney, Luca achieved his world record by running 26 1.18km on a treadmill in 24 hours. In 2018, this time on CurraNZ, he set a new course record of 134km in 12-hours at Narrabean.
Luca runs an 18-week training program to get people to run 5 marathons in 5 days.
