Forgot to load for a week? Not to worry, there is a fallback:
- Take one dose of 3-4 capsules two hours before your race
- Tip: Test this higher dose in training (never change your strategy on race day)
One high acute dose will provide a meaningful performance effect for up to four hours, but is uncertain to provide the full-blown benefits that 7-days loading delivers.
Protocol for ultra-endurance athletes
For the 'Running Beasts' among you, we recommend redosing if your race is set to exceed six hours.
- Load for 7 days, as above
- Take 2 capsules, 1-2 hours before race time
- Reload on 2 capsules every 4-6 hours during the race
- Take 2 capsules daily afterwards, for recovery
